A LITTLE HOST PREP
From printer to party table.
- Set out the word search as an arrival activity. Read unfamiliar words together before starting.
- Place the crossword grid and its clue sheet together. The gratitude clue is a useful one to discuss before independent solving.
- Play bingo after the quiet activities. Agree on a winning line, draw caller words from paper slips, and check the winner against the checklist.
After the puzzles: Ask everyone to choose one word from the word bank and describe a small everyday example of sharing, helping, or feeling thankful. The pack is a vocabulary activity, rather than a Thanksgiving history lesson.

Can I change the words or clues?

Are the bingo cards pictures or words?
These are word bingo cards. The host calls a word from the checklist and players mark the matching word. The four prepared cards have different arrangements; they are not picture cards.
